We are currently seeking a highly-motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team. As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, and working closely with our software development team to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and lead generation activities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, and serve as the primary point of contact for all sales-related inquiries and requests
- Collaborate with our software development team to understand customer needs and ensure that our products and services are meeting these needs
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
- Work closely with our marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to promote our products and services
- Attend industry conferences and events to network with potential clients and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics and trends, and provide regular reports and updates to management
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in business development or sales for a software development company
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software development methodologies
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to think creatively and strategically
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and events as needed
