We are looking for an experienced full stack developer to join a startup located in Cologne (Germany). This startup is the first platform worldwide to combine websites, social, commerce and search:
- Websites: People and companies receive a page free of charge, which offers all the functions of a website to create photos, videos, text, products and services
- Social: People and companies can follow other Grit Pages and share content with their followers
- Commerce: Products and services can be sold directly via our ordering and payment system (a system like Shopify is no longer necessary)
- Search: All content created is indexed by the internal search engine
Overall, this startup can also be defined as the new structured World Wide Web.
Technical Requirements
- Angular, at least 2 years of professional experience
- Node.js, at least 1 year of professional experience (NestJS is a big plus)
- Good knowledge of relational databases
- Basic knowledge of microservices
- Knowledge in GraphQL is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
- Document development phases and monitor systems
Must and/or Nice to have
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work with the remote team with constant communication
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree
