Startechup is looking for an experienced Web Developer that will be dedicated to develop and maintain WordPress websites for a client located in Singapore and other countries.
As a Web developer, you’ll have to be able to work on your own, with little supervision, and need strong management and problem-solving abilities.
Ultimately, the goal is to develop high-quality websites that is aligned with requirements coming from the client’s marketing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop high-quality Websites on WordPress
- Review design and ensure Web implementation is compliant with requirements
- Perform testing on several browsers and devices
- Collaborate with client and business teams
- Document development and monitor systems
- Ensure website is up-to-date
- Strong consistency and attention to detail
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Has experience optimizing websites to pass PageSpeed Insights (https://pagespeed.web.dev/)
- Must have CMS background on WordPress
- Install and ConfigureWordpress plugins
- Modification of pages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- At least 2 years of experience as a web developer
- Can customize and integrate templates into CMS
- Knowledgeable about PHP and Database MySql
MUST AND/OR NICE TO HAVE
- Knowledge about on page SEO
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work with the remote team with constant communication
- Excellent organizational skills
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree
